Father of the Bride
My Pappa bear aka daddyo is my foundation, my rock, and my superhero. He became a dad at the age of 26, and lost his own father in the same year. Needless to say, he grew up very fast! He is the most responsible person I know and love! I don’t need a reminder on my phone to pay any bills when I have my dad. He has patiently taught me how to change a flat tire, how to fix broken things around the house and lots of other essential lessons in life. He’s my “go-to” guy, especially when it comes to anything I don’t know how to do. Thank you for being the best father. I love you so much Dad!
Father of the Groom
My dad has been the best role model throughout my entire life. He always kept us focused on the positives, and kept us focused on the future. When he had the opportunity to bring my mom, Steve and I here to America: he did it! He did it to give us a better chance at life, even though he knew he’d have to leave everything he knew behind in India. He’ll be the first to tell you that he had to come here, start fresh, and buy “everything from a clothes pin to a house.” It’s with his sacrifices and hard work, along with my mom, that we got this far and I really hope I can continue to repay that sacrifice tenfold. I love you dad!
Mother of the Bride
My mom is a rare gem, one that I am so beyond blessed to have as my mother. Aside from being one of the most hardworking people I know, she embodies a perfect balance of grace, beauty, and strength. She always stressed the importance of prayer and faith in God, and I am certain that she is one of the greatest reasons why my faith is as strong as it is today. Whenever I would have rough days, her warm hugs make everything so much better...oh and her cooking too! =) Thank you for being my best friend and the best mother. I love you so much Mom!
Mother of the Groom
My mom is probably the most selfless person I know. She really and truly cares about making sure everyone is taken care off. She has a big heart, but often shows it through her cooking. My mom’s cooking is probably better than any Michelin Star restaurant out there. Yes, it’s that good! But what makes it that good you ask? LOVE. She’s been the most constant person in my life, and it will be different moving away after all these years. But I'll miss her nonetheless! I love you mom!
Matron of Honor
My older sister Sinu, aka my "chech", is the kindest, sweetest soul and one of my greatest blessings from God! After she got married and moved to Texas a few years ago, the separation anxiety hit me hard. It was tough not having her around, but she always managed to make it seem like she was closer than ever. We call and FaceTime each other every single day for hours, so much so that even Kevin gets put on hold =D! It is my greatest honor to have my chech be my right hand woman on my wedding day, to hold my dress and bouquet, to fix my veil, to pray with me, to cry with me, and to give me the warmest hugs when I break down before walking down the aisle! I couldn't imagine getting married to my best friend without my first best friend standing by my side as my matron of honor. I love you!
Best Man
Steve is the baby of the family. He pretty much smiles and laughs most of the time! He can turn anyone’s frown upside down. I remember when he was a baby and my parents brought him home from the hospital. He was so tiny and I was so happy to have a little baby brother! I wasn’t too much after he smashed all my toy cars haha! But to be honest, I wouldn’t have anyone else standing beside me on my wedding day. He’s always been there if I’ve needed to talk, or bounce ideas off. He was the first person I told about Reenu when we first met, and he was the first person I told when I was thinking of proposing! He knows how I feel about him, and he also knows we’ll never stop being brothers! He’s my best man for life!
