Please dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire for the wedding ceremony and reception. Keep in mind that as a desert town, Tucson is warm and sunny during the daytime but can get chilly at night.

Our legal marriage took place in Saint-Malo, France this summer. To celebrate our relationship with our loved ones in the US, we are having a short ceremony and vow exchange before the reception.

What does the drawing on my invitation mean?

Answer

A family friend, Clemence, created this beautiful logo for us. The wooden stakes are brise-lames, which are planted along the seawall in Saint-Malo to protect the city from the tides. The brise-lames and cacti, one for each member of our families, represent our families coming together in each of our hometowns to celebrate our marriage.
