What to expect at the wedding due to COVID-19?

Answer

Fortunately the entire venue is outdoors and therefore is able to be more flexible than an indoor venue. All venue staff will wear masks and gloves at all times. Guests are encouraged to wear masks when walking around. The best effort will be made to social distance seating and there is plenty of space at the venue to roam around.

Please RSVP no later than July, 1st 2020.

What can I expect at the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be a traditional but shortened Hindu ceremony and the reception will be American style. Traditionally Hindu ceremonies can last hours but this one will be shortened to one hour. Feel free to get up or chat with your neighbors during the ceremony.

What kind of venue is this?

Answer

Del Rio Vista Gardens is an outdoor venue set against the Stanislaus River. Both ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The ceremony starts later in the day to avoid the heat =)

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Although we would love to share this day with everyone, the venue has limited capacity. If you are local to the area we kindly ask that you make arrangements for your children while you attend the wedding. If you are out of state and attending will be difficult without the little ones, please contact us before declining the wedding invitation!

Are there hotels close to the venue?

Answer

The Residence Inn Marriott is close by and one of the newest hotels in Modesto. We have a room block available there for booking until 7/22/20. Please see the Travel page for more info. There are also other hotels in the area including La Quinta Inn, Baymont by Wyndham, and the Double Tree.

Yes there is plenty of free parking at the venue.
