Our home base for the weekend and where the hotel block is located. This is one of our favorite areas in Plano, and we come here often. It is perfect for eating, shopping, and wandering a little more than you planned to. A few of our favorite spots: Brunch – Toulouse Lunch – Mendocino Farms Dinner – Uchiko Dessert – Amorino Gelato For our indecisive friends, Legacy Food Hall is the best place to browse 20+ dining options all in one spot.
A lively, walkable neighborhood with great brunch spots, patios, shopping, and nightlife. Perfect for a relaxed city day or evening out. One of the best ways to explore the area is by walking or jogging the Katy Trail, a scenic path that runs through the neighborhood and is perfect for a morning run or easy stroll. A few of our favorite stops nearby: Brunch & coffee – Rose Café Pastries – Village Baking Co. (don’t skip the croissants) Dinner – Little Katana Sushi If you want a little movement break, you can also visit O2 Yoga & Fitness Studio, where Reem teaches, a great option for a workout or reset between wedding events. Uptown is also full of patios, bars, and shops, making it a great area for brunch, an afternoon wander, or a night out.
A local favorite with a laid-back but lively energy. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, bars, and live music, making it a great spot for an easy dinner, drinks, or a casual night out. A few of our favorite spots: Rooftop drinks – HG Sply Co. Dinner – Fortune House Chinese Dessert – Voodoo Doughnuts Wine bar – Millie’s Wine Bar Lower Greenville is especially fun in the evenings. You can walk the strip, hop between spots, and just go wherever the night takes you.
A fun Texas experience with cowboy culture, longhorn cattle drives, honky tonks, and classic BBQ spots. It is about a 45 to 60 minute drive and worth it if you want a true Texas day trip.
