Brian and Sarah met in February of 2012 when she first started working for Reese. When arriving to work, Sarah would often stop to talk to other people who were sitting in their cars waiting to clock in. Most days she found herself talking to Brian and his friend who parked next to each other. Eventually, they started talking more at work but everything changed in November of 2012 and their lives went separate ways. After some additional hardships in life, they found themselves on the same shift again. They spent time talking and hanging out before deciding to give it a chance and here they are!
During an annual camping trip in the PA Grand Canyon, they decided to revisit the first hiking trail they had completed together. The hike involves a semi- short walk to a rock overlook that spans the valley and has a nice view of their favorite campground. Brian chose to wait till they weren’t sitting on the edge (smart move) before asking Sarah to spend the rest of their lives together. It was a very special moment and it’s a place they will surely revisit time and time again!
One thing that Brian insisted on was going camping at his favorite campsite. He had been going there for years, before they met, with his friends and was excited to share this place with Sarah. Sarah’s childhood consisted of tent camping and she didn’t have the *fondest* memories of that. To say she was hesitant was putting it lightly. However, over the years they started going more and decided to become seasonal campers. They are thankful to the camping community for welcoming them. Being apart of the camping community has been a highlight in their lives and they are grateful to be part of the camping family!
