My best friend, Amy Alderton, gets the credit for Tyler and I! She suggested that Tyler and I would be great together and that I should reach out. I added him on social media, and then he reached out to me. We began talking on the phone, then slowly started hanging out more often. The first time we actually hung out was me taking a tour through his new home, and giving design suggestions. I loved giving him design inspiration for this home that has become so special to us. After months (and months) of being in "the talking phase" and hanging out constantly, he finally asked me to be his girlfriend in April 2021!

Tyler suggested that we go out to Rocky Gap and have a nice dinner. He made the reservations and all of the plans and suggested I wear a dress. I thought this was unusual, but did not think too much of it. I got ready, and he told me we were going to walk a little on the trail since it is such a nice day. This made me even more confused since we were dressed for dinner. We walk on the trail, and I eventually see rose petals, candles, a sign, and my best friend (the same best friend who set us up). He planned the most beautiful proposal with the help of Amy Alderton, our families, and Caleb Snyder. It was the perfect day! We can't wait to get married and continue our story.
