Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 30th.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. When you RSVP on our website, any plus ones will be listed.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

This is an adults-only affair. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that you dress in black tie attire.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Our discounted rooms are at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge. Please see the "Travel" tab for booking information.

Question

What is the best way to get to the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We are not planning to provide separate transportation to the ceremony or reception, as the best way to travel is generally by Uber, Lyft, yellow taxi, or public transportation. We do not recommend trying to park at the venue as spots are very limited and not guaranteed. If you are staying at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, the church is a 7 minute walk. If you are staying at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, the church is a 10-15 minute drive. The drive to The River Café following the ceremony is 10-15 minutes.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that you plan to arrive at the church 15 minutes before the ceremony. After the ceremony, cocktails will begin at 5:30pm at The River Café. If you intend to take an Uber, Lyft, or yellow taxi to the reception, please ask your driver to transport you all the way down the cobblestone driveway to The River Café’s front door.

Question

What should I know about the dinner service?

Answer

Following cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, The River Café will host a four-course formal seated dinner. Waiters will inquire about dietary restrictions and food allergies, which can be accommodated.
