Nicole and Reed met in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Reed, being in the airline industry, never really stopped working while Nicole, in the tourism industry, was furloughed for months. Nicole's next-door neighbors were in the airline industry as well so they would have some of their coworkers over every so often. Nicole, being a social butterfly, would find herself there from time to time. On one quarantine summer night, Nicole was hanging out at her neighbor’s house and Reed comes walking through the door. They immediately hit it off! They spent the rest of the night getting to know each other, playing games and laughing at the same jokes. God used such a unique situation to bring this beautiful couple together! The next day, Reed texted Nicole, added her on snapchat AND twitter. Nicole thought he was a sweet, handsome guy but also knew he was a newly single dad. Nicole wasn’t really concerned about Reed being a father, but she did want to make sure that he was a good father before getting involved in a relationship. A couple of days later, Reed couldn’t stop thinking about Nicole and invited her over for a homecooked meal. She agreed to a dinner date before she remembered that he lived in Peoria... over 45 mins away! She thought to herself, “Am I really about to drive this far for a guy I just met?” She decided to go because she knew something was different about this guy! That night Reed turned on his Texas charm and wanted to make sure Nicole had a good time! He made Nicole one of their now favorite meals, threw on some country music and his cowboy hat and taught her how to 2-step in his well put together bachelor pad. Nicole was impressed! Reed was also impressed with Nicole, not only for her beauty on the outside but her beautiful heart on the inside! Reed fell head over heels in love with Nicole and then fell in love all over again when Nicole met his daughter, Gracie. The way Nicole loves and cares for Reed and his daughter is an amazing labor of love. She truly is an answered prayer! Reed grew up in Paris, TX, playing numerous sports throughout middle and high school. After two torn ACL’s he found a love for flying. He later went to Oklahoma State to study Aerospace Administration and Operations where he learned how to be a Pilot. That decision eventually brought him to Mesa Airlines, based in Phoenix, AZ. Nicole grew up in Kenosha (Paris), WI. Her interests were horseback riding and finding a sunny place to go to college. With God’s perfect plan in place, she picked Arizona State University where she studied Tourism Development Management; Hotel and Resort Management and this decision kept her in the Phoenix area working at Omni Hotels & Resorts. The rest is history! This beautiful couple also started out with a few things in common, they both grew up with Golden Retrievers named Chloe, both grew up in a town named Paris - hence why their first dog, a miniature dachshund, is named Paris. They have since added another wiener, Viktor, to their growing family. If this isn't true love, I don't know what is!
