Our Beginning
Our story didn’t begin with a conversation, it began with prayer. Before we even knew each other, we were both asking God to send us someone kind, steady, and meant just for us. In His perfect timing, He answered.
We met through a student organization where I (Demi) was leading a conference, and I (Reed) was admiring her from afar for six months. I finally worked up the courage to ask her to sit with me at lunch on March 24, 2023. She was overwhelmed that day, but she said yes.
The moment we made eye contact, we both felt it peace, warmth…something different. We fell in love right then and there. I asked if she had ever been to Harry’s. She said sometimes. I said, “We should go together.” And eventually, we did.
Our love began as a quiet prayer and turned into something more beautiful than we ever imagined. We’re so thankful for the people who prayed for us, our future, encouraged us, and walked with us.
We cannot wait to share the love God gave us, with you!
