The Short Story
Reed and I quickly met a few weeks into college at the infamous BCA pledge debut date party. God knew that wasn't enough to kick us off, so obviously he was at the first Chi O date party the next day. Reed threw in the flirty comment "Oh you again", and finished that statement with "You know I only talk to the cool girls, good thing we're talking." Although we clearly were both charmed, Reed and I wanted nothing to do with dating someone freshman year, but he just couldn't stay away. To spare you the details, three "long months" later, Reed finally asked me on a real date, asked me right then and there to be his girl friend - & the rest is history.
In all seriousness, we both have realized how God used us in each others lives to redeem so much of our stories, and we cannot wait to commit to one another with the blessing of all of you with us. We owe our relationship to the foundation it was built on, and we hope it has been marked by God ever since. June 5th can't come soon enough!
