We're getting married!

For a year, we'd catch each other's eyes across the pool but quickly look away, pretending not to notice. Reece would ask silly questions just to get my attention, and I'd usually respond bluntly - but that didn't stop him trying. We barely spoke, yet somehow, there was always something there. We finally met properly at a 16th birthday party - a night neither of us had planned to go to until last minute, until we both decided, why not? From the moment we started talking, everything just clicked. It felt easy, familiar and like it was simply meant to happen. There were sparks, butterflies and sense that this was something special.
