Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony is planned to be outdoors on the Wedding Lawn of Chatham Bars Inn, weather permitting. August in Chatham is usually sunny and comfortably in the 70s with a gentle coastal breeze and cooler evenings, but we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast as the day approaches.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our Welcome Party dress code is Coastal Cocktail. Cocktail attire is requested, with lighter tones encouraged to complement the seaside setting. Our Wedding dress code is Coastal Formal. For women, this includes floor-length dresses in light, coastal-inspired hues. Flowy, breathable fabrics suited for a seaside setting are recommended. For men, traditional formalwear is requested, with lighter-toned suits encouraged.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please refer to the Travel tab for hotel options and details on our room block at Chatham Bars Inn. We recommend staying in Chatham as it offers the closest and most convenient access to all weekend events. Accommodations in the area fill quickly during August, so we strongly encourage booking as soon as you know you will be attending.

Is parking available at the wedding-day venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking attendants at the Beach House as well as complimentary valet parking behind the Main Inn.

Will transportation be provided after the wedding?

Answer

Complimentary shuttles will be available beginning around 8:00 pm, running in 30-minute intervals and continuing after the after-party concludes.
