Brian and I's friendship has been one of my longest, dating back to junior high. Our friendship began as we played football and ran track together - being the smallest and fastest guys on the team, we made an immediate bond. From sharing lunches at Raising Canes, drinking beers at Odells, or cheering for Colorado State, I can always count on Brian for a fun time. He has always been there for me with any support and advice. He is one of the smartest people I know, and as a clinical pharmacist, he is truly saving lives every single day. I am honored to have him standing by my side and I couldn't ask for a better best friend and best man.

I am so lucky to have my best friend and sister standing by my side on this special day. We have shared way too many memories to count; from destroying our living room with Barbies for an entire day, to building forts outside and trying to sleep through the night. Not only were you my best friend as a kid, but you're my best friend now! Through college basketball to professional school, from serious boyfriends to break-ups, from living states apart to living together...you've been there through it all! Thank you for always thinking of me on my birthday, on holidays, when I am sad or lonely...you have the biggest heart. I love you so much and I can't wait to have you next to me on my wedding day!

Well, what can I say about Billy - my older De Oahu brother, CSU masters and dental school mentor, and by far the best joke teller I know. From Fort Collins nights on the town, to drilling in the sim clinic for hours, Billy has always been there for me. Whether I needed life advice or a good time at a Rockies game, I knew where to go. I couldn't ask for a better friend standing next to me on my most important day. And well, of course we need a De Oahu or two.

How lucky am I to not only have my sister as maid of honor, but to also have my MOTHER! I am blessed beyond measure to have the relationship that we do. I don't think many girls can say, their mom is their best friend. You are my closest confidant, my favorite comedian, my most honest therapist and the BEST back scratcher :) (Reece is getting a lot better!) I am so lucky to have grown up with you as my mom; teaching me how to be honest, hard working, independent, and how to love someone with your whole heart. Reece is lucky I have you, because I learned how to love because of you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for loving me the way you do. I will never ever ever EVER take it for granted. First off, it wouldn't be right to explain Cole without a good "honeypot" (family site). Whether it's waist high powder off some random back bowl at Steamboat, or packing elk meat out of the back side of Vail, 6 miles, ONE WAY...I can always count on Cole for a good "honeypot". Cole became one of my closest friends during dental school; whether it was poker nights or sipping on some good whiskey in a cabin somewhere, we always manage to have a great time. I am honored to have Cole standing next to me and look forward to a lifetime of honeypot adventures.

No matter how much I hated Oklahoma, that is the place that brought us together. As my arch nemesis when you played for NJC, all we wanted to do was kick your butt (and we usually did!). You were so tough, such a great team player and inspiration, and so loud and positive that, as a competitor, it made us MAD! Thank goodness for us getting scouted and chosen by the same program after JuCo so we could end up becoming best friends! We became fiercely good friends, very quickly, because you were real, honest, determined, and SO much fun...I could always count on you to get your dancing shoes on! I knew we'd be friends forever! I can't wait to have you standing by my side for this wedding and for the rest of our lives!

Ryen and Reece, sometimes better known as Freddy and Donnie. Our friendship started on the first day of dental school when I came up to Ryen and said "some people told me to find this Burkenbeen guy, I heard we are going to be best buds." And that was where it began - followed by ski trips, 3 years of living together, Minnesota lake trips and a wine fest neither of us know we went to (the photo above proves we were there). Ryen has shown me to enjoy life and never miss an opportunity to make a memory. I am so happy to have such a great friend standing up next to me and looking forward to a life time of ski trips together.

The one, very distinct, ridiculous memory I have of my cousin as kids, is when you conned me into eating a cactus. Now, we all know you can eat a cactus, but NOT from the outside! Yes, I don't have much common sense but I was probably 6...making you 14 and you knew better! We ran back to my house, with 100 cactus needles in my tongue, and my mom had to then pick them out 1-by-1!! I'm sure you pretended you had no idea you shouldn't have done that! Jokes aside, you have been one of my closest cousins and every holiday or concert, I am excited to see you, joke with you, take shots with you ;) And Reece & I love when Natalia comes out! Also, you gave me the honor of being your baby's God mother & I adore that girl. I am so happy to have you by my side! PS, we will forever make the meatballs.

Here's to one of my longest friendships...we go back to the Parkwood neighborhood days. My greatest memories with Mitch are the ski trips to Winter Park, summers out on Horsetooth lake, and cruising around Old Town Fort Collins on our fixed gear bikes. Mitch is the friend that, no matter the time apart, the next time we see each other seems like no time has passed at all. Growing up Mitch was the brother I never had, and I couldn't be happier to have him standing up next to me. Cheers Mijo!

My relationship with Cody started out as...Ellie's brother, and I better not mess this up or you know what!...just kidding. Cody and I hit it off from the beginning. Our relationship evolved over the years and it went from Ellie's brother to gaining my own brother. Cody is not only the brother I never had, but honestly, the one I have wanted. I cherish the time we get to spend together, mainly because there are always laughs and a good time waiting. Couldn't be happier to have such a great friend standing next to me and yes, soon to be brother.

Reece first met Chris through a group of crazy friends known as the De Oahu's while attending Colorado State. He immediately became great friends with Chris because, well, who doesn't love Chris. His personality is contagious! Chris is one of the most caring and greatest friends Reece and Ellie could ask for. Chris gave Reece motivation and inspiration along his journey through dental school, and now we get to watch Chris become an amazing Pediatric Dentist. He is always up for a good time whether it was at Tour De Fat, skiing, camping or creating the energy at a party - Chris is the man for the job. We are extremely honored and lucky to have Chris officiate our wedding. We love you!
