We met back in 2009 in the seventh grade when we were both new students at Academics Plus Charter School. We came from more country schools in Vilonia and Scott, so life in the city of Maumelle was a transition for us. A deeper friendship grew in the eighth grade when we began spending time together outside of school. At only 15 years old during our freshman year, he made our first Valentine's Day as a couple so special that I thought I would be lucky to end up with him. Little did I know.
