We’re getting married!

Kyle and Mackenzie met in May of 2020. During this time, they were both sent home from their colleges as it was peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. As most modern day love stories start, Kyle came by Mackenzie’s tinder profile and noticed a mutual friend, Natalie, in one of the her photos. When Mackenzie finally found Kyle’s profile a few weeks later, they talked over social media for a week until Kyle finally asked her on a date. Their first date was at Leavitts ice cream, where they ended up talking in Kyle’s car for hours. They have been inseparable ever since. Kyle asked Mackenzie to be his girlfriend in the driveway of his childhood home in Danville on June 23, 2020.

After a few weeks into officially dating, they went to Falmouth, Massachusetts to visit a friend for the 4th of July. Since it was still COVID-19, they stayed in a tent in the backyard and most of the activities were held outside. After spending those three days together, they knew they had truly found something special in one another. Mackenzie always says that is where she fell in love with Kyle. Fast forward nearly five years later, Kyle wanted to propose to Mackenzie somewhere meaningful to their relationship. He surprised her with a weekend getaway to Falmouth, and one day before their five year dating anniversary, he proposed.
