Hunter & Macayla met at OCC in August of 2018. They became friends the first week of school through having mutual friends while playing sand volleyball. From there, they hung out a lot in a group with everyone, doing homework & having fun! Macayla started to notice something very special about Hunter in the way he upheld himself when around everyone. After prayerfully considering getting to know each other, Macayla went to grab food for their friend Kiefer & Hunter was the only one that went with. From there, they went on many different hangouts to get to know each other before Hunter asked Macayla out on September 26, 2018 on the Strong Hall porch swing. Flash forward to January 15, 2021 & they are at that same porch swing, but for a different reason. This time, Hunter is on one knee & asking Macayla to spend the rest of their lives together in Christ. The Lord brought them together, and the Lord will guide them for the rest of their days. Thank you for being apart of their story.

thanks to the corona virus, ozark got shut down during spring break of 2020. so i got stuck in indiana with him! this is our last night together before leaving to pack up and say goodbye the next day

summer of 2020 plans got cancelled/rearranged, so we got to spend a bit more time together than we thought we would! this is when hunter came to iola!
