Buffalo RiverWorks
Great outdoor sports bar right on the Erie Canal in downtown Buffalo. In the surrounding area there are fun activities such as water bike and pedal boat rentals (https://www.waterbikesofbuffalo.com), and you can walk over to the Hatch in Erie Basin Marina for ice cream and walk along Lake Erie.
Hamburg Brewing Company
Hamburg is about 15 minutes from Suncliff and is a cute town with local restaurants, bars and shops. The Hamburg Brewing Company has some of Renee's favorite beers such as Blackberry Gose and Louie IPA. FYI they do not take reservations.

East Aurora is a town about 30 minutes from the Suncliff and is very close to where Renee grew up. Paul and Renee both agree they have the best wings in Buffalo. Anchor Bar is another famous wing spot in downtown Buffalo (https://anchorbar.com/locations/buffalo/).
