Here are a few places that we can explore with you or you can do so on your own:
For most of you, December 28 is a date that you will definitely be already in Albania. 
So, for that, we propose a group trip.

For those friends staying a little longer:
1. Kruja: Historic city, birthplace of Albania's national hero during the Ottoman Empire occupation, Gjergj Kastriot Skënderbej.
2. Porgradec: Lakeside city, bordering with Macedonia
3. Korca: Neighboring city with Pogradec - in both places you can have amazing local fresh food, homemade wine and rakia, and see the old bazaar and small-stone (Kalldrëm) streets. 
4. Mount Dajti: Small mountain, nearest to Tirana - you can get there by car or by bus and then the cable car - up top, restaurant with the view of the city.
