We're getting married y’all!

Back in 2011, when they were babies in high school, Elden and ReDell met at one of Inflation Nation's legendary spring break parties (IYKYK). When the DJ dropped "No Hands", ReDell quickly made her way to the dance floor with her girls, and that is where they first laid eyes on each other. Hard to believe that after being in such close proximity for so many years, they didn't meet sooner. Elden always talks about seeing in her in the halls of middle school; ReDell had really tight braces then, she doesn't recall. Either way fate had its way in bringing them together AND keeping them together. After college, different states, breakups, and makeups, the two realized that they were always meant to be.

If you know ReDell, you know just how hard it is to surprise her. Also, if you know me, you know I'm not the best at planning, but WE pulled it off! Thanks to each and every one of you who helped with this moment. That weekend she already had family coming in town for various reasons and somehow she still didn’t put it together with all the love she was receiving that day. After gathering our local family and friends, I filled everyone in on the spontaneous plan and made dinner reservations at The Aberdeen Barn, a family favorite. Despite a few incidents that almost gave it away, we were able to maintain the surprise right up until the big moment. Little sister ReShawna was able to have our long distance loved ones attend virtually via Zoom and it turned out to be the most perfect night I could've asked for. From picking out the ring with her parents (yes, in two different states) to getting down on one knee, every step was worth it when my best friend agreed to spend the rest of her life with me.
