In November 2021, we were paired as groomsmen and bridesmaid for Sumanth's friend's and Yolanda's sister's wedding. We walked down the aisle together then the rest is history. Well, actually, not really! Two years later, Yolanda's sister told her that Sumanth had moved back to Plano in the literal definition of "out of the blue". So Yolanda decided that it didn't hurt to reach out. The next day, Sumanth replied, and we eventually decided to meet up for a dinner date in August 2023. We started out as a slow burn, taking our time to get to know each other and becoming best friends, turned into a beautiful budding romance. Sumanth proposed to Yolanda on October 4th, 2025 in the gorgeous Fort Worth Botanical Gardens in front of her favorite spot, the Rose Steps. If you ask either of us, we will both tell you that we felt there was something special about the other at that Rehearsal Dinner 5 years ago. When they say "right person, wrong time", we felt that. There was a spark that left its mark on both of us even two years later with no contact after their wedding. We never exchanged numbers or social media. Fate intervened, and now we get to share our wedding with everyone we love!
