Divya had just moved to NYC in search of a new job, and met Parth quickly after. An initial conversation about Kati Rolls turned into one date, which turned into the second date, and endless hangouts thereafter. :) We knew after the second date that this was forever. Dance parties, Joe’s Pizza, Bollywood karaoke, love for desserts, squash tournaments, Thai food, belly aches from laughing so hard, and endless love for our family and friends, this is us.

It was supposed to be a low key weekend with my Aunt in D.C., but little did I know it was going to be my biggest puddle of tears yet. I was casually eating my donut when Parth led me to the middle of the park, below a gorgeous set of stairs, to a gift bag. He nonchalantly said “I got you something else for our anniversary.” After I started opening his gift, I realized what was happening and pretty much lost it. He got down on one knee, and with both our hands shaking, asked me to be his forever. He then surprised me with my family and closest friends. It was beautiful, thoughtful, and more special than I could have ever dreamed.
