We're Getting Married!

Michael and Bri met at Olivet Nazarene University during orientation of their freshmen year. They later grew closer together through their love of music by singing together in Orpheus Choir. Freshmen year they sang "Love is an Open Door" in the school variety show together, and the rest is history. Michael took Bri to Chicago on their first date and they fell in love soon after that.

Michael knew that when he proposed to Bri, Disney would have to be involved! He planned a whole trip for each of their families to go on a trip to Disney together over Thanksgiving. On Novemeber 27th, 2019, Michael proposed to Bri in front of the castle in Magic Kingdom. It was the most magical day and Bri truly felt like a princess!

Michael and Bri had planned to have their wedding on August 1st, 2020. They had all the details figured out and were so excited for their wedding! Then... Covid hit. All of their plans were halted and they had to rethink their wedding. Bri had already made plans to leave Illinois and move to Colorado to be with Michael, so they knew they didn't want to wait to get married. They decided to have a small simple wedding with only 10 guests on the beach in Florida on July 24th, 2020. Exactly one year later on July 24th, 2021 they are finally getting to have the big wedding of their dreams with friends and family by their side.
