Every love story has a point of origin and ours was decidedly old-school. There wasn’t a dating app in sight on that Friday evening in the spring of 2018 when Jordan noticed Megan at a local restaurant and decided to buy her a drink. As with all the great love stories, things started off slowly, but Megan realized he might be for real when – after only a few months of seeing each other - Jordan asked for her clothing measurements when he was 7,000 miles away. Miraculously, between Megan's oddly poor ability to articulate her measurements and Jordan's terrifying unfamiliarity with anything having to do with women's clothes, he brought home the perfect fit. Right from the start, Megan loved having her own personal chef and Jordan was smitten to be with someone who had even better hair than him. From long walks around their shared DC neighborhood, to traveling to new places together, their love and their friendship took off. Fast forward to February 2022 - one pup and a city change later – Jordan proved to Megan that he was the one, removing his gloves and risking frostbite in Quebec, as he lowered his knee into the snow and asked Megan to marry him. While Megan had hoped that this was Jordan’s new approach to asking her if she wanted to go get Mexican food, this was an excellent alternative question. In September of 2023, Jordan and Megan are ecstatic to share an amazing weekend with friends and family – from near and far - to officially tie the knot! They cannot promise tacos and burritos for all, but they do have some influence over the menu.
