We're Getting Married!

Our story begins in a shitty Pizza Hut. He was my boss, and it was against the rules for us to date, but we started talking anyways 😂 And we haven’t stopped talking since! We would hang out almost every single day, watching The Office and discussing music. We very quickly became inseparable, and I knew within a matter of hours that he was absolutely The One ❤️ The proposal was one of the best and most surprising days of my life! It was October 2018, and we were discussing Halloween. He mentioned that at this vineyard we both love, they were going to have a big costume party! And he thought it would be a great idea if we dressed up as our favorite Disney characters, Beauty and the Beast 🥀 Of course I was all in! My mom made my dress, he got his costume, and we were ready to go! My best friend and her sister helped me get ready that day. I was so excited! We got to the vineyard, and immediately his mom comes over to us and says “I have a surprise for both of you, so you need to wear these blindfolds.” I was VERY confused, but went along with it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn’t even have the tiniest inkling that he would be proposing! His mom and stepdad guide us to where we need to be (although the whole time, I was the only one blindfolded. Jon was playing along really well though!) We come to a stop and Meghan removes my blindfold. I see Jon on one knee, but it takes me at least 30 seconds to realize what’s happening! I turn and see the ring placed in the midde of a replica of the rose from Beauty and the Beast! I started bawling, and all I heard him say was “Will you marry me?” Now we have the most beautiful son, an adorable dog, and an amazing life together! To say I’m excited to marry this man is an understatement. I can’t wait to take his last name, forever ❤️💙
