Hello, friends and family! Unfortunately, we are writing to let you all know that we're cancelling our August 8, 2020 wedding reception due to the pandemic. This event is intended to be a joyful celebration of our wedding, and we want to be sure we're keeping all of our loved ones (you!) safe. We don't know where things will be by early August, but we don't want to take any risks, particularly since so many of our wonderful guests are coming from all over the country. We're still getting married this summer in the presence of our immediate families, and we can't wait for that. We may still decide to have a do-over reception at some point in the future - we'll let you know. We're so sorry to be in this position, but please know you're all still very welcome to come and visit us at our new house in Helena, Montana anytime! The most disappointing part of all this is not getting to see you all. Sending lots of love, and hoping you are staying safe and sane out there. Rachel and Nick
We're so excited to share our reception with all of you! We'll already be married before the party, so it'll be time to celebrate. Plan for a low-key Montana gathering on the banks of the Kootenai River - we'll provide BBQ and sides, a few kegs of beer and some wine, and you bring your wonderful selves. There will be pies for dessert, and a cash bar, as well. Dress code is however you will be most comfortable. We consider your presence at this celebration to be our gift. Really, we don't need gifts! We're pretty well outfitted in our lives, and happy with what we've got. However, if you do feel the urge to offer something in honor of the occasion, we would love contributions to an A-frame camper for future adventures. We would also encourage folks, in lieu of gifts, to consider donating to the Wildland Firefighter Fund, Kootenai Pets for Life or the Montana Conservation Corps. More information is on the registry page of this website.
