The Beginning Of A New Chapter...

09.15.2017

Everything happens for a reason. For this tale, it was a serendipitous meeting of a boy and a girl at a popular Karaoke Bar in K-Town. Boy meets girl and he instantly thought, "Oh wow! My dream girl came to life!" <insert Angelic Choir Ahh! sound effect here> The boy then promptly offered the girl a drink. They shared a round and then danced while everyone else sang silly Karaoke songs. But the story didn't end there, for the girl was actually out on a date with someone else that night. Fortunately, the girl gave the boy a chance. She left her number for him scribbled on a coaster. Boy took the chance and asked the girl out for a date. They dated and instantly clicked. Sparks flew. They have chemistry. The rest as they say is history.

The Promise

04.23.18

Half a year after they first met, the boy made a promise to the girl and presented her with a ring to memorialize their oath. It was a promise of unconditional love. A love they mutually share. A love to last an eternity. Allow us to regale you a tale of how it all happened. The boy, excited and wrapped up in his emotions, knew he would want to give the girl a ring so he already bought one without knowing firsthand the size of the girl's ring finger. He thought to himself "Well, it would be easy to get the measurements and resize the ring later." Turns out, he was half-right. Resizing wasn't the problem, getting the measurement however is a different matter altogether. In the early morning of April 23, 2018 the boy decided to put his plan into action. He made sure that the girl was still sleeping soundly. A piece of paper, he thought, might do the trick for a quick measurement of the girl's ring finger. Alas, paper as it turns out is hard to use as measuring tape in semi-darkness. He then resorted to a piece of string. Guess what? It worked! All's well that ends well, right? Not so fast. There was one tiny problem... Getting the string off! The boy readied a small scissor to cut the string off, but it was at this time that the girl woke up and caught the boy in action. He had no choice but to tell her about his plan... And so, on bended knee, he presented the ring to the girl and made the promise of love that she whole-heartedly accepted. It was such a joyous occasion to the both of them!

The Engagement

06.13.2018

When you know that you know who you love, you can't deny it, or go back, or give up, or pretend that you don't. That's how the boy and the girl felt just a couple of months after making the promise to each other. There's no reason not to, when everything is going smoothly in their relationship. While "The Promise" was more of a "Mission: Impossible" type scenario, "The Engagement" was more like "Jerry Maguire" echoing the romantic Tom Cruise line “you complete me” dovetailing neatly into Renee Zellweger’s response “you had me at hello”. The boy then asked, beforehand, the girl's mom for her blessing and support for her daughter's hand in marriage. She can see how happy her daughter is in their relationship and so she agreed and bestowed upon them her full support and blessings. On June 13, 2018, the couple went to the Jewelry District of DTLA to secure the girl an engagement ring. Right then and there, with his whole heart and on bended knee, the boy proposed to the girl for her hand in marriage. The girl replied with a resounding, YES! Carefully and with a steady hand, the boy placed the engagement ring on the girl's ring finger. The girl then gently picked the boy up from the floor and gave him a big hug followed by a long and passionate kiss. These are the events that led you here today at the boy and girl's website. Please join them for their intimate celebration of marriage with their close family and friends this December 8, 2018.
