The Wedding Website of Michael Collins and Rechelle Robinson
In Loving Memory We pause to lovingly remember Rechelle's late parents, Wilson and Paralee Robinson, whose lives were a testament to love, faith, and family. Though they are no longer with us in person, their presence will be deeply felt and honored throughout the ceremony. Their enduring legacy continues to shape and guide Rechelle's heart and the foundation of this union. As Michael and I prepare to unite in marriage, we are deeply grateful to those who have walked with us through life’s many seasons. It is with great honor that we introduce the individuals who will stand beside us on this most sacred day.

Wilson & Paralee Robinson

Parents of the Bride

As I begin this new chapter in my life, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my parents, Wilson and Paralee Robinson. I thank my parents for their unconditional love, guidance, and endless support. They taught me the meaning of commitment, the strength of love, and the importance of family. Their example showed me how to build a life rooted in Godly principles, respect, kindness, and patience. This day is not only a celebration of the love that Michael and I share for one another, but also a reflection of everything my parents have given me in preparation for this special time. I carry the lessons they taught me in my heart as Michael and I step into this sacred union. Though they are not here physically, I feel their presence with me in every step I take. On this most special day, I honor them with love, gratitude, and the hope that they are smiling down on us, giving us their blessings as we form our covenant of love in Jesus' Name. "Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony." Colossians 3:14.

Rechelle Denise Robinson

Bride

Hi, I'm Rechelle, the bride-to-be. I grew up in Los Angeles. I have worked in education for over 25 years, first as an elementary school teacher and then as a school counselor for the Hawthorne School District. Additionally, I have worked at Concordia University Irvine for 13 years as an adjunct instructor in the graduate school counseling program. When I’m not planning our wedding or obsessing over seating charts, you’ll find me relaxing, having quiet time to pray and meditate on God's Word, and enjoying time with my dogs, Woody and Hope. I am a member of Power Apostolic Church and enjoy being a member of our amazing praise team, singing praises to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Meeting Michael was a surprise blessing and an added twist to my life. From our first conversation, I knew that life with him would be filled with love, laughter, support, and many amusement park adventures (especially to Disneyland), but most importantly, a life of serving God together. Michael's unwavering love for Jesus, his family, and all that crosses his path captured my heart from the start, and I've never looked back. I've waited my whole life to find someone like Michael to share my life with. "I have found the one whom my soul loves." Song of Solomon 3:4

Michael Robert Collins

Groom

Hi everyone! I’m Michael, the groom. I've been an R.L. Stephens Tool Co. consultant representative for over 35 years. I'm a cutting tool salesman by day and servant of God every opportunity I get. I love being a devoted father to my beautiful daughter, Danette, and "Papa" to my 3 wonderful gifts from God, my grandchildren, Kayleigh, Draven and Emmy. I am passionate about my walk with God and attend Eastside Christian Church regularly, serving in various capacities. I am a published author of The Third Wormhole, which explores astrophysics with end-time prophecy. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending plays, Christian concerts, and amusement parks. My relationship with my Lord & Saviour Jesus is the most important thing in my life, and I am honored that my wife-to-be, Rechelle, feels the same way. I’ve always believed that life is about the little moments, and meeting Rechelle turned all those little moments into something truly extraordinary. Her presence in my life has been a blessing, and she is a welcome addition to our family. I can’t wait to start this next chapter of my life with her, and I’m so glad you’ll be there to celebrate it with us!

Pastor Jeff Alcorn

Officiant

Rechelle and I are beyond thrilled to Have Pastor Jeff Alcorn officiating our very special day. Jeff is one of the many awesome Pastors who serve at our place of Worship, Eastside Christian Church. Jeff and I have become very close since we met and he was the one who helped me through the toughest time of my life, when my beautiful wife of 27 years, Pam, went home to be with Jesus. Since meeting him, Rechelle has told me how fond she is of him and loved how he has seen us through Marriage Counseling and helped us extensively plan for our very special day. So glad to have you there Jeff as Rechelle and I begin our next chapter as Husband and Wife.

Kendall Renee

Featured Soloist

We are so very happy and blessed to have our close friend Kendall Renee performing at the Ceremony. Kendall's talent and charm are unparalleled. She is one of the Worship Leaders at our place of Worship, Eastside Christian Church. Everyone in attendance is in for a very special treat and Rechelle and I look forward to her performance.

Ruby Graham

Spiritual Mother of the Bride

Ruby Graham, my mother, holds a special place in our beautiful journey, embodying love, strength, and grace. With unwavering support, she has lovingly nurtured and guided me through life, and today, she celebrates the joy of seeing me embark on this new chapter of love and commitment. Her wisdom, kindness, and faith have shaped the woman I am today, and her prayers are a constant source of strength for Michael and me as we begin our married life. As we begin this new chapter in our lives, we lovingly honor Mrs. Graham and pray that she continues to be a source of love, guidance, and inspiration, not only on this joyous day but throughout the years to come in Jesus' Name.

James Graham

Spiritual Father of the Bride

A devoted and loving father and steadfast man of faith, James Graham, my father, has always led our family with grace, humility, and unwavering trust in God. His quiet strength and servant’s heart have profoundly shaped my life, grounding me in love, integrity, and the joy of walking with the Lord. As my father gives me away, he does so with gratitude for God's guidance and blessings and full confidence in the sacred covenant that Michael and I are entering into.

Lori Lake

Sister of the Groom

There aren't enough words to express how much I love my wonderful sister Lori. She has been there for me in the dark times and the good times. Her tremendous faith and devotion to Jesus is an inspiration to every person she comes in contact with. If you are fortunate enough to meet Lori at the wedding, get ready for a really big hug. My life and walk with Jesus are so much greater because of her. Rechelle and I love her with all of our hearts and couldn't imagine for one second her not being there on our special day. And that is why we have reserved the place of honor where the Groom's Mother usually sits, just for her.

Desiree Rideaux

Matron of Honor

It’s hard to put into words just how much Desiree means to me. She’s been my rock, confidante, cheerleader, and one of the most important people in my life. Whether we were laughing until we cried, supporting each other through life’s ups and downs, or celebrating milestones big and small, Desiree has always been there with unwavering love and loyalty. Her faith in God has always encouraged and inspired my walk with God. She and her husband gave me the privilege and honor of being their children's Godmother (Damon and Monique Rideaux). I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side. She's more than a friend, she's family. Desiree always believed this day would come, and now it's here, and we are celebrating together.

Laura Harris Tackwood

Maid of Honor

There’s no one else I could imagine standing by my side more than Laura. We’ve been best friends since high school, and she’s been my rock through every high and low. Her love and support have been a God sent in my life. Laura brings joy, wisdom, and unwavering support to everything she does. She’s the kind of friend who always shows up with a smile and the perfect words to brighten your day. I’m so blessed to have her as my maid of honor and even more blessed to have her in my life.

Monique Rideaux

Bridesmaid

From the moment I held her as a baby, I knew she would light up every room—and today, I’m beyond honored to have Monique, my Goddaughter, stand by my side as one of my bridesmaids. She has grown into an incredible young woman: kind, thoughtful, and filled with so much joy. Watching her blossom over the years has been a beautiful honor. From birthday celebrations at Griffith Park with cake-covered smiles and laughter as a little girl, to heartfelt visits and late-night talks about life as a young woman, Monique has always held a special place in my heart. Being her Godmother has been one of my greatest joys. Michael and I are overjoyed that her love, support, and radiant smile will make our celebration complete. She is my heart in human form. I love you always, my "Sweet Niecy."

Kaleigh Navez

Bridesmaid

We're thrilled to have Kaleigh, Michael's amazing granddaughter, standing with us on our special day as one of our beautiful bridesmaids. From the moment Michael held her in his arms, she's been the sparkle in his eyes. Having Kaleigh as a bridesmaid in our wedding is one of the greatest honors. It’s not every day that we get to say "I do" with family by your side—especially the younger generation who carry your heart in a special way. She's been a special part of our journey, and having her by our side means the world to both of us. Her love, laughter, and support have made our family stronger, and we can't wait to celebrate this new chapter together!

Adam Lara

Best Man

I am completely blessed that my longtime friend and brother in Christ, Adam Lara, has agreed to be my Best Man. Adam and my friendship goes back over 20 years, and we have been through a lot of life together. We are former bandmates having played together in a Rock Band called "The Core". Adam was our awesome Bass Player while I pounded on the Skins. We have many fond memories, and I am really overjoyed that Adam will be joining our wedding party.

Robert Blethrow

Groomsman

I am so honored and blessed to have Robert as one of my groomsmen on this very special day. I have known Robert for almost twenty years now and we have seen each other through life's many ups and downs. I was extremely blessed to able to serve on the Board of Elders with Robert at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Orange. Robert's tremendous zeal for Jesus and his awesome love of Country is infectious. God has blessed me so very much by bringing Robert into my life, and I am happy to have him by my side on this special day.

Chris Venages

Groomsman

I am so honored that Chris agreed to be one of my groomsmen. He and my beautiful granddaughter Kayleigh have been together now for quite some time, and he has been an amazing addition to our family. We both share a love of sports, being avid Dodger and Lakers fans, video games and everything Star Wars! Having Chris and Kayleigh here with us on our very special day means everything to Rechelle and me and we thank Jesus for bringing Chris into our lives.

I thank the Lord Jesus for bring Michael and his wonderful family into my life and so look forward to him being there on Rechelle and I's very special day.

Harper McDonald

Flower Girl

We're so excited to have Harper as one of our lovely flower girls! She’s 10 years old and full of energy, giggles, and charm. Whether she’s twirling in her dress or scattering petals down the aisle, she brings a smile to everyone’s face. I have known Harper since she was an infant. I've watched her grow from a tiny bundle into the bright, joyful little girl she is today. It's only fitting that someone so close to my heart gets to walk ahead of me down the aisle. Michael and I couldn't imagine our day without her sparkling personality and beautiful smile.

Emsley (Emmy) Hoehn

Flower Girl

We’re so excited to introduce our beautiful flower girl, Emsley, affectionately known as Emmy! She is also Michael's granddaughter and a blessing wherever she goes. At 11 years old, she brings just the right mix of charm, energy, and fun to our big day. Whether she's making her beautiful jewelry and masks or lighting up the room with her smile, Emmy has been looking forward to her special role and is sure to melt hearts as she walks down the aisle. We’re so blessed to have her be part of this moment and can't wait for you to see her shine!
