The Rebirths Journey

Welcome to our wedding website! We are Stephen & Joy, fondly called The Rebirths, and we are so excited to have you here. This space was created to share our love story, keep you updated on wedding details, and give you everything you need as we count down to the big day — October 30, 2025. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with all our dear friends and family. Thank you for being part of our journey of love, faith, and purpose.

Our journey began years ago in church. Joy had just won a Bible Competition — a feat that caught Stephen’s admiration because his own sister had won the same award the year before. After the program, Stephen walked up to Joy and simply said Hi! Little did we know that a small greeting would one day lead to forever. At first, we weren’t close. Life carried us in different directions, and though we weren’t immediate friends, there was always a quiet respect and admiration between us. It wasn’t until about a year later that we began to talk more, slowly becoming friends and discovering how much we had in common. Over the years, our friendship blossomed, even with distance. We shared values, faith, and dreams. Then came 2020 — a year of many changes in the world, but for us, it was also a year of deeper connection. Conversations grew longer, hearts became closer, and clarity about God’s plan for our lives began to take shape. Still, we waited on God’s timing. In March 2023, with conviction and peace, we officially began our courtship journey. The months and years that followed were filled with growth, prayers, laughter, challenges, and victories — all preparing us for this next chapter. And now, with hearts full of gratitude and joy, we are ready to say I Do. On October 30th, 2025, we walk down the aisle, not just as Stephen and Joy, but as The Rebirths, starting our forever journey together.
