Travel Note
If you are traveling from the New England area, there are 2 ferries that leave from CT and go into Long Island. Both are great options to avoid any unwanted CT and NY traffic! Bridgeport > Port Jefferson New London > Orient Point Easy to bring your car on - just recommend buying tickets ahead of time.
