During March of 2020, we met online. Because of COVID lockdowns, it was difficult to figure out a spot for a good first date. We texted each other every day, called each other, and had video calls every once in a while. Finally, on May 2nd, we decided to meet at an Aldi to have our first in-person date.

We spent the summer of 2022 in Poland, hanging out with some family and friends, exploring the country, and finally spending quality time with each other after spending so much time in a long-distance relationship. With me working in Saudi and him only being able to come visit, it can be tough sometimes. We began discussing the future and decided we wanted to make each other a priority. So, in Zakopane (a beautiful mountain town in the south of Poland), we hiked up to a beautiful spot full of wildflowers and we proposed to each other. Distance won't keep us apart!
