Katie, my travel partner! For the longest time Katie and I were going on trips every year- Mexico, Montana, TN, Sweden, Norway, Minnesota and Idaho. Katie, you are the friend who I know will always be up for a trip last minute and a new adventure to experience! Katie is also the sweetest & most loyal friend there is, you might not know where In the world she is at, but she will come to you in a moments notice when needed! I’m so thankful for faithfulness and love!

My future sister-in-law! Gini and I have bonded over falling in love with a Spaulding. 😂 I am thankful to have Gini, and have gotten to know her over the last 4 years! I’m so glad I have you in a family of all boys! Gini is a GREAT listener and so considerate, two qualities she shows to everyone. Can’t wait to be family for a lifetime!

Mollie

Mollie and I connected as friends right away in college, I truly can say Mollie will be a friend for a lifetime- Mollie and I have spent time visiting each other where ever we have lived (CO, MN, MO, MI, WI) We love spending time being with each other and enjoying nature! Nathan and I have gotten to know Mollie’s family more in the past 5 years by spending holidays together and celebrating birthdays and weddings. Let me tell you, having a Mollie in your life is transforming, quite literally! She teaches me so much about making daily life beautiful and functional! Her presence is calming and she will bring so much life your way!!!

The mother of the children whom I love so much❤️Andrea has been one of my closest friends in Green Bay. She has been so supportive and always is helping out! Andreas family and I both moved to GB at the same time, we’ve done it all together and I am just so thankful! I’m thankful for Andrea letting me walk in her house without knocking! Ha! My B^3. Anna is my friend that’s a hidden gem, she is brilliant! Anna and I met outside of science class freshman year- she was wearing a Batman shirt. I thought she was interesting and we stayed friends! And it’s only gotten better and better! Anna makes me laugh SO hard. She is also carefree yet the most caring! She is Always fighting for the under Privileged and advocating for those who don’t have a voice, she has already changed the world.

Ben & Nathan's friendship goes all the way back to the early 90s, when Nathan became Ben's big brother. Through the years, Ben & Nathan have enjoyed basketball, games of all kinds, camping, music (Up the Irons!!!), a good ale, and talking theology. Ben has always been a protector, someone who goes to bat for the left out & looks out for the battered. Nathan's message to Ben ... Daniel is the steady & wise presence that has been a gift to Nathan throughout their 20+ year friendship. Besides epic movies, philosophical conversations, & busting some serious gut over The Office, Daniel & Nathan enjoy the simple things of life - food, fire, & Frisbee Golf. Daniel has the rare and rewarding gift of discernment and wisdom, able to perceive that which is often hidden to the average eye. Nathan's message to Daniel ... Jonathan & Nathan like to sit next to each other for extended periods of time, simply enjoying the other's company. Aiden brings joy and vibrancy to Nathan's life and the lives of many others; he is a caring and empathetic presence during confusing times. Nathan's message to Aiden ... Matt & Nathan have been dear friends for over 10 years. The duo met in college while studying theology & quickly bonded over Nintendo, campus ministry endeavors, & simply enjoying the laughter & presence of each other. While many miles and moons apart, these two turtledoves still enjoy connecting & talking about the deep stuff of life. Matthew is a faithful friend and a steady guide during turbulent times, loyal to his loved ones through and through; he is a daily reminder that God is a Giver of good gifts. Ever since Nathan laid eyes on Jake and his gorgeous hair during their freshman year of college, he has been hooked (and continues to grow his hair out to this day). Ha! There is little that is unknown in the eyes of the other, such is the deep bond and friendship that Jake and Nathan share. While the list of their shared interests is long, they love to walk hand in hand and wade into the weightier things of life - love, longing, & the life of the world to come. Jake has the undeniable gift of accepting people as they are and making them feel loved and welcomed in his presence. Joe - Joe and Nathan have been two peas in a pod since the early days of college. While the pair have nearly killed each other at various points, their genuine love and loyalty to each other has been the glue that holds their friendship together. Joe and Nathan could tell you story after story about each other's episodes and escapades, but this refrain remains: "They really are crazy & they really do think the world of each other." Joe has the beautiful ability to converse & connect with just about anyone who crosses his path, a quality that Nathan has always admired & cherished. Besides wanting to name his firstborn son, Elijah Wayne, Nathan has enjoyed a bromance with Eli since the two became friends back in college. The shared passions and memories are many and varied between the two (not to mention an epic road-trip to Minnesota while playing Yahtzee & burnin' American Spirits), but two pursuits that continue to knit their hearts together have been the art of freedom and the dance of surrender. Eli has a brave heart, with the gift of moving courageously into the lives of people, seeing all souls through the eyes of Love.
