We cant wait to celebrate with you!

Its a pretty simple story in the beginning. Rebekah helps coordinate events at Smooth Ambler and Missy is a distiller at Smooth Ambler. We exchanged “hello’s” in passing but nothing major. Missy started joining everyone after work at “the pub” for happy hour and Rebekah is always ready for a cocktail. Fast forward a few days of happy hour smiles and group conversations, Rebekah is on a casual date (at the pub) and Missy makes her move. After confessing dating in Greenbrier County is hard Missy suggest “you could date me.” We went out the next night and that's how it all started.

We LOVE Katie Kadan from NBC, The Voice and she was playing her first live show at House of Blues in Chicago. We decided a road trip sounded great, its was Valentines Day weekend and Missy was off work. Lets go! We drove around sightseeing most of the day because it was freezing (Chicago, winter- Duh.) Early afternoon we decided to brave the cold for cloud gate (The Bean) and after some photos and enjoying the art, Missy proposed. Shocked and numb we warmed up in our room at The Omni and called friends and family! The show was later that evening so it was a blast celebrating with friends! It was a wonderful trip!

We couldnt wait any longer. We wanted to be married and didnt see any reason to continue to allow a global pandemic to call the shots. Saint Thomas housed our vows, we will celebrate with everyone soon!
