Mike and Bek's officially met in Toronto, Canada February 2017 in a young adults connect group at church. The first official time these two hung out there were fireworks - literally though, Mike had organized a big fireworks show to celebrate the long Victoria day weekend... smooth, real smooth! After that night the two were inseparable and spent basically every day together. The thing was though that Beks had a flight booked to go home to Australia for 6 months. With little time to spare, Mike made it very clear that he wasn't going to let her go and asked her to go on a official date with just one day to spare before she got on the plane to head home. The two then spent the next 6 months face timing, sending love letters and getting to know each other more and more. Six long months later they were finally reunited and adventured into the next exciting season of dating. Fast forward a year and a half later to May 1st 2019, Mike proposed in the same place where it all began on their first date, the Scarborough Bluffs! #aww And thus began the next adventure together!
