We knew of each other in high school due to mutual friends, although we went to different schools. Years before we met, a friend called and told me that Mark wanted my number. I gave her permission to give it to him because I thought he was cute. A few years later, we started texting and found out we lived very close to eachother. It was the start of summer, and he picked me up on the boat the first time we met. We immediately connected, even though we were shy and did not want to admit our feelings for each other. It didn't take long for us to become inseperable. We spent that summer falling in love, and the rest is history!

It was the first night on a cruise to Mexico. We had just finished eating dinner with family when Mark suggested that we all find a good spot to take pictures. When we found a spot, we all took some pictures and I had absolutely no idea what was about to happen. After Mark and I got a picture, I walked away to see what the picture looked like. I turned around to look at him and he was on one knee. I screamed in disbelief and said yes! I will always remember how excited he looked and the fun we had celebrating that week. It was the best surprise ever! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Milner!
