We’re getting married!

Bekah and Win originally started talking while using the online dating app, Ok Cupid, the first week of January in 2018; however, they finally met in person on January 27th at a frozen yogurt shop. Their first "official" date was a week later and well after that... the rest was history.

Win always insisted he be the first one to say the "L" word. However, there had been a couple of times where it may have slipped out or was almost said prior to actually saying it. Before saying I love you, they used to say "I LOKE you"; which, for them, was a made up term that meant they were at a point where they more than liked each other but not at I love you yet. After surprising Bekah for her twenty-seventh birthday by taking her to Catalina Island, Win finally confessed his undying love for Bekah. Bekah quickly and tearfully reciprocated. The word LOKE still appears every now and then ;)

On December 22, 2018 while visiting Bekah's family for the Christmas holiday, Win took Bekah on a fancy dinner date to one of her favorite places, Convict Lake, which is located near her home town of Mammoth Lakes. After giving her a gift that pictured the starry night sky from the evening they met, he got down on one knee and asked for Bekah’s hand in marriage. Bekah's younger brother and sister were secretly there to capture the whole event on camera.
