The dress code is Garden Party Formal. For men, this includes suits and/or dress pants with a sports coat. Pastels and light colors encouraged! For Women, this includes midi/maxi dresses (or pants/pantsuits) with floral and bright colored fabrics with a trend towards light and airy/whimsical styles. Bright and pastel colors + floral patterns encouraged! Please no jeans/denim or tennis shoes and please avoid shades of white and cream. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formerly included on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, a plus one will be listed on your your addressed invite.
Invitations will be specific and include the names of children if they are invited. However, we encourage you to use this time as a “night out” for yourself!
Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow ample time for parking and seating. If you are late, please wait and attend the cocktail hour and reception after.
Our venue has ample parking. Please park in the lower guest lot as the upper lot is for older family members. If you plan to drink, please consider an Uber/Lyft from the hotel to the venue.
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you-get ready to party! For this reason, we encourage you to Uber/Lyft to the venue. We will be providing Uber codes at the venue to help cover transportation costs. Please make sure you have a way to get back to your hotel safely.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors.
We are having an unplugged ceremony meaning that all cellphones and cameras should be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present and allow our photographers and videographers to capture the ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like!

Yes, please see our registry portion of the website. You are also welcome to bring cards to the wedding. Please send any gifts off of our registry to our home address as we are flying and will not be able to take anything other than cards home with us!
There are multiple small airports within 2 hours drive of the venue including Lynchburg Regional (closest), Roanoke Regional, Charlottsville-Albemarle, and Richmond. For larger airports at a further distance IAD and JFK are both within 3 hours as well as Raleigh.
