The year was 2021 the 12th month and 17th day. It all started with a phone call. While 2 hours away from each other Aaron and Rebekah spoke on the phone for the first time via Wade the older brother. Although somewhat brief the encounter would stick. Fastforward 2 months and some change. They met in person and didn't really speak much with their siblings present but did much speaking after the fact. Throughout their stent as a couple, they discovered that there have been multiple times in which they were merely less than a mile from each other and yet never met. This just goes to show that there is someone out there for everyone but in God's own timing. Aaron and Rebekah grew so close to each other rapidly as if they were magnets meant to attract with the barrier of time in between them. Once that barrier was removed, they smashed together and have been inseparable ever since. Your typical Boy almost meets girl, girl almost meets boy, boy and girl almost met each other, boy and girl talk through third party, boy and girl meet, fall in love and get married. But there is definitely nothing typical about them or their love for each other.

In between the time that Aaron and Rebekah met and the proposal, these two only grew closer each and every day. The bond they have is unlike any other. When Rebekah started making art in Aaron's presence, Aaron wanted to join. When Aaron was watching a show, Rebekah was peeking around asking the premise of the story. From British accents to royal balls, from a messy paint tutorial to playful jest at each other. They're not only partners, but best friends. No greater love was ever found.

The proposal was one of a mastermind. Rebekah and Aaron had spoken previously of wanting to learn a thing or two about dancing as to not look like a pair of two left feet. Aaron and Rebekah were on the phone that Monday prior and the two had agreed to take a dance lesson together. On that Wednesday night, everything was going smoothly. Rebekah and Aaron learned the steps and quite quickly (ask the dance instructor. She was impressed). They started going through the final attempt of the dance, very elegantly might I add. Aaron dropped down to his knee and surprised Rebekah. He pulled out a ring and ask for her hand in marriage. Because Rebekah has common sense, of course she said "Yes".
