Forever and Always

We met in band class. It sounds nerdy, simple, and silly, but our friendship solidified there. We went to High school together. Ricky played trumpet and I played clarinet. We were each the first chair of our section and would always compete for solos and featured parts. Through band we became very good friends. Then, through the fate of our senior class trip, we were able to spend a day together. We talked, laughed, and screamed on all the biggest rides at Six Flags. From there it was history. We then went on to college. I went to New York for some time, and Ricky went to school in New Haven. It was a tough year of train rides and weekend visits, but we made it work. Then I came back home to CT for the rest of college. We built our relationship through communication and trust, and knew that we could strive through those formidable years of college and Covid. Now we live together and have our own little family with our 2 dogs. We have created a home, and are ready to solidify that for the rest of this life and all those to come.
