TRAVEL TO SHENANDOAH WOODS

Directions to Shenandoah Woods from various coordinates: From the Washington DC area: • Interstate 66 West • Exit 13 (Linden) and follow signs to Front Royal • 340 South to Luray • In Luray 340 becomes 340 business south toward Stanley • After you leave Luray go 4 miles • left on Hawksbill Avenue (NOT Hawksbill Road) • right on Farmview Road • left on Ida Road • left on Log Cabin Drive From the Richmond/Hampton Roads area: • Interstate 64 west • Exit 136 (Zion Crossroads) • 15 north to Gordonsville • 33 west to Elkton • 340 north to Stanley • In Stanley turn right on 689 (at Shell gas station) • left on Ida Road • left on Log Cabin Drive From Interstate 81: • Exit 264 (New Market) • 211 east across Massanutten Mountain • 340 bypass south to Stanley/Shenandoah • 340 business north to Stanley • In Stanley turn right on 689 (at Shell gas station) • left on Ida Road • left on Log Cabin Drive

Shenandoah Woods - Cabin Rentals

Shenandoah Woods, the wedding venue, has 18 rental cabins on site. All cabins will be held for guests until March 22, 2019. Use code RAVEON to book. Shenandoah Woods' wedding special is a free fourth night when booking three nights. To take advantage of this wedding special, please include a note of the night you would like to add for free in the message section when checking out. Shuttle service to and from the wedding will be provided to guests at Shenandoah Woods. Please view the website via the link below for details on the different amenities of each cabin, a map of where each cabin is located, and a special 'Wedding Guest Info' page for more information on the property and the wedding special.

Hotel Laurance

A limited number of luxury rooms have been reserved at the Hotel Laurance in Luray (approximately 20 minutes from the wedding venue). The rooms range from $250 - $275 a night. All rooms have a small kitchen. Room 7 is like a small apartment and includes two separate bedrooms. It is ideal for two couples. Room 9 is spacious and includes a pullout couch, making it appropriate for a family or 2 couples that don't mind sharing. To book a room, click on the 'Reserve Room' button in the upper righthand corner of their webpage. Then click 'I have a group number' on the lefthand side. The number is 2070. The system will automatically recognize the dates for the wedding under this group number (saved as Group Epstein/Koscielniak). Please note the rooms must be reserved Friday - Sunday.

Hotel

Days Inn by Wyndham Luray Shenandoah

A block of rooms has been reserved for guests at the Days Inn in Luray, about 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The hotel has a pool and a miniature golf course for $5 a game. A great option for families or miniature golf enthusiasts. Breakfast is included. The rooms range from $117 - $125 a night. Call to make a reservation and ask for the Epstein/Koscielniak wedding. Rooms will be held until May 10.

Luray

There are numerous Airbnbs and several hotels located in the nearby town of Luray. It is approximately 15 minutes from the wedding venue.

Washington Dulles International (IAD)

Dulles airport is the closest major airport to Shenandoah Woods. It is under a two hour drive without traffic. Rush hour traffic in this area can be challenging and could significantly increase travel times. It is best to avoid leaving Dulles around morning and evening rush hour commutes if possible.

Reagan National Airport (DCA)

Without traffic DCA is just under two hours from Shenandoah Woods, but traffic can also be a challenge when leaving the airport. It is best to avoid traveling through DCA around rush hour.

Baltimore Washington International (BWI)

The Baltimore airport is approximately two and a half hours from Shenandoah Woods. It is a hub for Southwest, making this airport one of the most affordable travel options in the area.

Richmond (RIC)

If you're not pressed for time and interested in taking a scenic route, you might consider flying into Richmond and extending your trip. Rebecca is a a certified Richmond Tourism Ambassador and would be happy to give you tips on all that Richmond has to offer, which includes numerous historical points of interest, large and small art museums and galleries (including a vast collection of recognized urban street art), a diverse food scene featuring nationally recognized chefs and restaurants, breweries galore, and a Raptor named Allen. When traveling to Shenandoah Woods from Richmond, you will pass by dozens of gorgeous wineries, all within 10 miles of the main road, as you travel through the Charlottesville area. You will also pass over the Shenandoah Mountains via the Swift Run Gap entrance (Central District) if you're so inclined to enter the park and go for a hike or just enjoy driving along Skyline Dr.
