What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

This event is smart casual. Jeans are appropriate, as are casual dresses and more.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire or formal garden party. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or maxi-length dress or dressy separates. The reception and ceremony will be held outdoors, so consider dressing appropriately for the weather. Heaters/fans are available at the reception to help keep everyone comfortable.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

We want you to relax and safely enjoy our big day. That is why we have arranged complimentary transportation to and from the wedding ceremony and reception and the recommended hotels. A single bus will pickup groups from both hotels. The bus will go to Fairfield first, followed by the Mendenhall Inn. Guest Pickup Schedule: Fairfield 3:30 pm: Gather in lobby 3:40 pm: Bus departs Mendenhall Inn 3:40: Gather in lobby 3:55: Bus Departs The bus is anticipated to arrive at the wedding venue between 4:05 pm and 4:10 pm.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm, so please aim to arrive between 4:00 pm and 4:20 pm. If you choose to stay at the recommended hotel and take the shuttle, the shuttle will arrive at the Greenville Country Club between 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at the wedding venue. If you would like to drop guests off and then park, then you can continue straight down the driveway to the front of the main building.

Is there parking at the Welcome Party?

Answer

The Creamery has ample parking on site and an additional overflow on Birch St. They also have a parking lot on the east side of the Creamery.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is a kid friendly wedding, and we are excited to celebrate with the entire family. If anyone happens to be vocal, we kindly request that you please step away during the ceremony.

Answer

Please check the travel tab for information on recommended hotels. While we would love for you to stay at the recommended hotel and take advantage of the shuttle bus service offered, you are welcome to check out other great options in the area as well.
