Maid of Honor
Becca met Taryn when she was 16 visiting family in Los Angeles. Her mom said this is your cousin Taryn, and she was shocked how much they looked alike. She was the first cousin who looked anything like Becca. Taryn eventually moved to Texas when Becca started residency in Galveston and they've been inseparable since.
Robert "Bobby" Williams
Best Man
Robert Williams Jr., aka Bobby, is the older brother of Jason. As the older sibling, Bobby always played an influential role in Jason's life, and was the sole reason that Jason attended Morehouse College. Bobby remains an integral component of his brother's life, and double hats as sibling and best friend. Bobby currently lives in Washington DC. Outside of corporate life, Bobby enjoys outdoor activities, hanging with friends, fantasy football, and good scotch.
Jill Pascal
Matron of Honor
Jill lived directly across from Becca in their college dorm at Spelman College. She met her by asking what size shoe she wears, which was entirely too small for Becca. Soon after she realized she had the same sarcastic sense of humor, love for fine art, and appreciation for a good glass of wine as herself. They've remained best friends no matter the time or distance apart.
Konrad Miles

Konrad Miles, aka Skonnie, is the older cousin of Jason. Both growing up in Hampton Roads, Virginia, Skonnie always invited Jason over to play with his toys and video games, and Jason was always the recipient of all the clothes that Skonnie outgrew. As young men, they both attended Morehouse College and graduated in the spring of 2010. Skonnie is now a resident of Washington D.C. As a D.C. socialite, he enjoys brunching with friends and participating in community service. Skonnie also enjoys returning to Virginia on the weekends to spend time with his Mother, Dr. Louise Williams M.D., and Sister, Alexis Miles.
Ashley Smith

Becca met her cousin Ashley at the same time she met her cousin Taryn (Maid of Honor), at the young age of 16. Ashley took her out to party in Los Angeles and tainted her young San Antonio eyes. To this day she never disappoints when it comes to showing everyone a good time.
Eric King
Groomsman
Eric and Jason first met in 9th grade band class. After graduating from high school, their paths led them on different journeys. While Jason pursued a business degree at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Eric pursued an engineering degree at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. As close friends, they have traveled all over Europe, attended music festivals, and have celebrated several new years together. Eric now lives in the Bay area and works for Facebook.
Jasmine Wynton

"Are ya'll twins?' No they aren't, despite popular belief. Jasmine and Becca attended Spelman College together, but they didn't become close friends until they both lived in Dallas, Texas at the same time. They did EVERYTHING together, and she can honestly say after meeting her she gained a sister.
George Price
Groomsman
George and Jason attended pre-school, middle school, and college together. Their friendship, in fact, was preceded by their mother's friendship: Jason's mother was a bridesmaid in George's mother's wedding. Jason and George we inseparable in high school provided their parents plenty of headaches when they began driving. George went on to serve in the Army and work for the VA. He is married to his middle school sweetheart, Kwineshia, and they now live in North Carolina.
Leontyne Thompson

Leontyne and Becca shared many grueling evenings together at Spelman College Glee Club practice, but they always managed to find time to make it out to party for the night. Nerds by day and fly by night, they struggled through their science classes together and somehow passed. Leontyne and Becca have been each other's biggest cheerleader throughout the ups and down of life.
Nigel Brooks

Nigel and Jason first met at the age of 6 and were both members of the same cub scout troop. After attending middle school and high school together, Nigel attended Virginia Commonwealth University and pursued a career in Marketing in NYC. He returned to school to pursue a career in the military and is now an officer in the US Army. Nigel has recently returned from tour and is now stationed in Washington state.
Khaiel Johnson

Where to start with this one? Khaiel is the reason Becca made it to medical school and vice versa. She always makes her laugh and has a complete disregard for appropriateness. Because of this, she can't seem to live without her.
Durell Blanks
Groomsman
Durell grew up in Hampton Roads and attended the same high school as Jason. Jason and Durell were introduced to one another through their mutual friend, Eric, right before a spring break cruise. Since then, the three gentlemen have traveled all over the country as well as overseas. Durell enjoys traveling and spends quite a bit of his free time in Europe visiting friends and family. He currently resides in Hampton, Virginia and enjoys a career working with Augmented Reality.
Tatiana Cardenas Moore

Becca met Tati at Meharry Medical College. She initially helped her in her lab before she realized she hated laboratory research. They spent just about every evening together in medical school studying, laughing, drinking wine, and sharing memories. She couldn't imagine my medical school memories being complete without her.
Jharell Smalls

Jharel and Jason met in middle school and their friendship has remain intact ever since. Jharel graduated with a degree in Computer Science and now resides in Washington DC. In his free time, Jharel enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his dog.
Tiffany Haines

Tiffany and Becca met at Meharry Medical College. They shared a dry sense of humor and manage to communicate without talking to this day. They took many trips to New Orleans during those Nashville days, which helped keep them sane. Everything came full circle when it came time for Becca to move to Nola. Besides having Jason there, she wasn't worried knowing one of her closest friends would be there too.

Paul and Jason met as sophomores at Morehouse College in Atlanta. Not only the closest of friends, they are also fraternity brothers.
Naiomi Jamal

Naiomi and Becca completed residency together at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. When they initially met, Naiomi was the complete opposite of Becca (conservative, terrible driver). Sadly she has tainted Naiomi over the several years they've known each other and had entirely too much fun in the process. She's been a welcome member to the Burke family and can be spotted at any and every family function.
