Many of you know we have been dating since high school, but what you don’t know is that we met in 8th grade. We sat next to each other in math class and realized we had more classes together that same year. We became really good friends and even had some of the same friends. It was sophomore year, 10th grade when we started officially dating. November 4th, 2015. That year we started our journey of being by each others sides. We attended each others sports games, hung out on the weekends, and had our first date at the Iron Horse. In 2018, we graduated high school together completing another milestone. We went off to different colleges in Massachusetts, only an hour away from each other. In college between wrestling and ROTC, we still found plenty of time to visit one another. Graduating college in 2022, just a week apart, was yet again another major milestone where we got to be by each others side. From there the Army life was set into full speed. After six months of training in Georgia, Zach was sent to Fort Drum, New York. In 2023, we set another huge milestone in our lives, we bought a house and settled in during the nice cold winter months. Shortly after, Zach was deployed for nine months and got home in April 2024. Being as spontaneous as we are, we adopted a very handsome chocolate lab, Timber, a week after Zach got home. (Everyone was shocked it wasn’t a cat first!) June 2024, we took a summer vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. On our first full day there, it was cloudy with pop up thunderstorms and we spent the day sitting on the deck playing cards. Zach so graciously made dinner reservations, which was surprising! Before dinner, the rain stopped and sun was peaking through the clouds. We arrived to “dinner” at 7 pm right next to the beach where Zach proposed. He had another surprise planned with a hidden photographer to capture the most beautiful and memorable milestone yet. Since then we have been enjoying our engagement and new life together with Timber. We are so excited to be planning our wedding, including being with you on our special day!
