Although Vincent and Rebecca had gone to the same Junior High and High School separated by only 1 year, they met by accident through mutual friends preparing for a riding trip to Ridgecrest. Three days in the desert with nothing but friends, drinks, dirt bikes and oh yeah... no showers! By the end of the trip and long drive home Vincent had finally built the courage to ask Rebecca on a date where she tried Sushi for her first time. From that point forward, it was a NO to sushi, but a YES to us.

Vincent planned a lovely weekend getaway at the Ponte Winery in Temecula for Rebecca's 28th Birthday. He even drove out the weekend before to make sure he had the perfect spot to propose at. The morning of, he took her to a beautiful breakfast that served coffee and mimosas. Their view overlooked the lake. After breakfast, Vincent asked Rebecca if she would join him under the pergola for photos. Vincent proceeded to get on one knee and asked Rebecca if she would marry him.
