We’re getting married!

We briefly met at the Oshawa Centre while I (Becky) was having lunch with my sister in July. An old friend of mine bumped into me and it was just coincidence Tyler decided to tag along with them that day. We parted ways to later reconnect online in November 2018 and hit it off immediately. Our relationship started just a few days later and flourished quickly.

It was Christmas Day and we were spending some time with my (Becky’s) family in New Brunswick. I remember finding it odd that he was drinking straight whiskey with dinner, as he wasn’t usually a hard liquor type of guy but chalked it up to him taking a different approach to celebrations. Spoiler alert; he was very nervous. Later that night, we finally got some pictures on the deck and the next thing you know, he’s on one knee asking me to marry him. I was definitely in shock but after repeatedly asking “Are you serious?” and “Really?”, I said yes! It was the most memorable moment of our relationship by far. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in September!
