Will transportation be provided from the hotel to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Bus transportation will be provided to and from the Westin River North. The bus will depart the circle drive in front of the Westin at 4:45pm to Rockwell prior to the ceremony. At the conclusion of the evening, buses will depart from Rockwell at 11:30pm returning to the Westin.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Formal Attire. Men should feel comfortable wearing a suit and tie and women in long, midi or short dresses. No tuxedos or gowns necessary.

How do I ensure I got the wedding room block rate at the Westin?

Answer

All reservations made through the link on our 'Travel' page should automatically get the reduced room rate. If you have any concerns or need to update your reservations you can call the hotel directly at 1 (888) 627-8359. To ensure you get the discounted rate, reservations for the Westin must be made by October 21, 2025. Please make sure you mention the Shanker/Brown wedding!

Valet parking is available at Salon 61 on Friday - the valet stand is in front of il Porcellino (59 W. Hubbard st.)
