What is the dress code for Friday night dinner at the Crouching Lion?

Answer

Think Hawaiian business casual! My boys are wearing short sleeved linen button downs, shorts and sandals. Piper is wearing a dress! Think dinner out on an island... nothing too fancy needed!

What is the dress code for the boat/wedding/sandbar/after party?

Answer

Bathing suits! Once we get to the sandbar we will drop anchor and the staff will set up a volleyball net and get out some other water fun items (snorkel gear and floaty things). We will then get off the boat into the water and gather for a short wedding ceremony. You may stay on the boat if you prefer. There are shaded parts of the boat and restrooms available. After the ceremony we will be out on the sandbar for a few more hours. Last time we were there we saw sea turtles swimming around and whether you just want to float and enjoy the gorgeous scenery or snorkel or walk the sandbar or enjoy some beverages... it's bound to be a great time! Don't forget your sunscreen, hats and possibly dry clothes. The boat will be feeding us burgers (or veggie burgers), fruit, salad and chips. There will also be local beer and seltzer options. Unfortunately I was not able to bring any of my own food or drink aboard for this trip. You should definitely not discretely bring along other things in your bag for yourself to enjoy (cough or do cough cough). Directly after the boat drops us back at the dock we can all head back to our Airbnb for some tacos and beverages. I will probably be changing but you do not have to. The house is directly on the beach so casual clothes work and so do bathing suits! I would bring a change of clothes with you if you're not planning on returning to your hotel before heading over. Some of you are staying on our side of the Island but some of you are across the Island near Waikiki. You are welcome to use the house to freshen up if you'd like!

When are we arriving/leaving HI?

Answer

We are arriving Wednesday afternoon and heading straight to the Airbnb. We check out of the Airbnb on Mon morning. Upon checkout we will be heading over to Waikiki to spend the rest of the day Monday and Tuesday before flying out on the red eye Tuesday night.
