Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Rebecca Shaw and Steven Pfrang
If you're looking to do some things on your own or extend your trip, here are some of our favorite spots and activities between Bozeman and Livingston.
College 'M' Hike

College 'M' Hike

Bozeman, MT 59715

The Montana State University "College M" in the Bridger Mountains is visible from anywhere in Bozeman. This famous hike takes you up to the M and provides great views of the city of Bozeman. There is a longer, winding trail that is better for beginners. And a shorter, steeper trail that is better for advanced hikers. *If there is any snow or ice on the ground we HIGHLY recommend hiking poles and/ or hiking spikes, which can be fitted over your hiking boots! *

Hyalite Reservoir

Hyalite Reservoir

Between Bozeman & Big Sky, MT

Hyalite Reservoir is about 20 miles (40 min drive) South of Bozeman, in the Hyalite Canyon. The reservoir itself is a beautiful sight and the 10.5 mile drive into the Canyon is incredibly scenic. There are numerous hikes of varying difficulty surrounding the reservoir. ** Cell service is limited in the canyon, so plan your hike ahead of time! We recommend hiking poles and/ or hiking spikes if there is any snow or ice on the ground. Hyalite Canyon Road is paved to the reservoir, but we recommend 4 wheel drive given the time of year **

MAP Brewing Company

MAP Brewing Company

510 Manley Road, Bozeman, MT 59715
, (406) 587-4070

Bozeman has many local breweries, including MAP Brewing, which is located just north of town and has a beautiful view of the Bridger Mountains. Other breweries to check out: - Mountain's Walking - Montana Ale Works - Bozeman Brewing

Chico Hot Springs

Chico Hot Springs

Pray, MT 59065

Located in the Absaroka Mountains, about 15 mins south of Copper Rose and 30 mins south of the town of Livingston. Chico Hot Springs sells day passes for their two open-air natural mineral hot springs pools. You can also grab a bite to eat at one of their on-property restaurants while you're there!

Downtown Bozeman

Downtown Bozeman

Bozeman, MT 59715

Bozeman is full of shops, bars and restaurants worth visiting! Some of our favorite spots are: - Blackbird (On Main Street. Walk-ins welcome.) - Blacksmith (Italian Food. Located near MSU's campus. Reservations recommended.) - Cafe Fresco (Small Italian restaurant located 2 blocks from the Element. Reservations recommended.) - Dave's Sushi (Unexpectedly FANTASTIC sushi spot in a landlocked state. Seriously.) - Jam (Best sit-down breakfast in town) - McKenzie River Pizza (Montana-based chain. Delicious pizza, including "take-and-bake"!) - Plonk (Wine bar on Main Street.) - Revelry (Great for lunch or dinner) - Roost (Fried chicken. As seen on Diners Drive Ins and Dives! Get take-out or enjoy on parking lot picnic tables. Call ahead!) - Wild Crumb (Unbelievable pastries and sandwiches. Get there early for the best selection! Located north of main street.)
