We're Getting Married!

February 1st of 2020 was bitterly cold and windy... it was also our first date. We actually met online a week before we met in person and I already had had butterflies in my stomach that told me I found someone really special. Our first conversation started from our mutual love for reading! And our first date, as a fitting transition from online messaging to real life, was at a quaint little bookstore in Manchester. We browsed the books and as we did so, we continued to share our own stories with each other. I admired Stephen's work ethic, his sense of humor, his love for his family and what he had already bared to be a big heart full of kindness and faith. As for him, I think he admired when I ordered the world's largest plate of mac and cheese for dinner! By the end of the night after all the sharing, laughter, book browsing and racing down city sidewalks together to get out of the freezing cold, I think the deal was sealed. We both had so much more to learn about each other and yet, we both had that feeling, that hope, that our stories were going to continue to intertwine. And so here we are, engaged, counting down to be married! One chapter ending, and the next beginning with "I Do". We cannot wait for you to celebrate with us as we turn that page. XOXO
