When should I book my flights?

We recommend booking your flights as early as possible for the best rates. The closest airport is Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica, about 1.5 hours from the recommended hotel.

How do I book the recommended hotel?

Answer

The new resort has different guidelines for group bookings and does not offer a discount code to provide, so we kindly ask that all guests book their stay at Hotel Riu Ocho Rios either directly through the resort or through any booking agency of your choice. Please feel free to choose the booking option that best suits you.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will provide meet & greet and wedding day transportation for guests staying at Hotel Riu Ocho Rios. AIRPORT TRANSFERS: RIU Hotels & Resorts partners with trusted international transfer companies to make your arrival smooth and stress-free. Guests can arrange airport transportation by contacting the resort directly or by adding a transfer during the final step of the RIU booking process.

Our dress code is Beach Chic—think elegant but comfortable. Light, flowy fabrics for ladies and linen shirts or lightweight dress pants for men. Leave the ties and stilettos behind—this is a tropical celebration!

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. Take this as an opportunity for a fun getaway!

What’s the weather like in Jamaica in February?

Answer

February is one of the best months to visit Ocho Rios! Expect warm, comfortable days around 80–85°F (27°C) and mild evenings around 72–73°F (22–23°C). The ocean is beautifully warm—perfect for swimming—at about 80–81°F (27°C). February is also a drier month, with only a handful of light rain days and plenty of sunshine. Just be sure to pack sunscreen, as the UV index can be high. Overall, it’s ideal beach and vacation weather—perfect for celebrating with us!

Yes! Join us for a Meet & Greet on February 27th at 8:00 PM at Jaz View Villa in Runaway Bay for drinks, light bites, and great company before the big day. We’re also planning a special sunset cruise for the evening after the wedding—an unforgettable way to keep the celebration going!
