We met at Sam's Putnam Wireless Zone store in July of 2014. I had a broken phone and Sam tried to sell me on a new one. No one was expecting what was to come. We bonded over our music interests, our love of travel, and I laughed at all of his witty sarcastic remarks. As I was leaving the store for the final time, Sam stopped to ask me on a date. The rest was history.

We were on vacation with Sam's family in Barbados in June 2016. During one of our family dinners, Sam asked me to go for a walk. I was not expecting anything so I asked Sam's brother to join us. As we were walking, Sam insisted we go walk on the beach. I was scared because the only lighting was from the stars. We were holding hands when he took me aside and got on one knee. I began crying, screamed YES, and squeezed him so tight. It could not have been anymore perfect!
